There you may find all information you need for depacking the files you want to download. Unpack utilities for common platforms (other than C64/128) are in the /pub/util directory. Programms with the length of one diskside and more are C64-zipped, which results in four files per diskside (e.g. 1!filename 2!filename 3!filename 4!filename), using the Zipcollection V2 you may unzip them again on your C64 or C128 (use the 'diskunpacker' option) Some demos are also zip-filepacked, which results in several files like: A!filename B!filename . . . X!filename using the Zipcollection V2 you may unzip them again on your C64 or C128 (use the 'fileunpacker' option) You may find Zipcollection V2 and other C64-archivating tools in the /pub/c64/archive directory. Please refer to the 00INDEX files in each directory for information about the files and their length (disksides). 2) INCOMING Please put all your uploads into the INCOMING directory and leave me a note that you did so under: spockie@giga.or.at 3) Archive All C64-unpack utilities are in the /pub/c64/archive directory. 4) Demos You may find C64 demos in the /pub/c64/demos directory. The demos are classified by the corresponding groups. 5) Diskmags Several Diskmags are in this directory. 6) Emulators You may find C64 emulators and their corresponding tools for common platforms in the /pub/c64/emulators directory. The emulators are classified by the corresponding operating systems. 7) GEOS GEOS related stuff is in the /pub/c64/geos directory. 9) Nostalgia Very Old Demos and nostalgia software for the C64/128 10) Operating Systems Alternative operating systems for the C64/128. 11) Party Party Competition Products such as demos, graphics and sounds are located in this directory. 12) SID Files for the Sound Interface Device are located in this directory. 13) SuperCPU Stuff for CMDs SuperCPU 20 MHz accelerator for the C64/C128 14) Tools You may find common tools for the C64/128 in this directory. The tools are classified by their corresponding functions. 15) Transfer Files to transfer data between C64/128 and the rest of the world are located here. .sfx files are selfextracting ones, just load and start them on your C64. .sda files are a selfdissolving archive, just load and run them on your C64. .lnx files are packed with the Programm LYNX, located in the /pub/c64/archive directory. Make sure that the LYNX-packed files on you C64 have a .lnx extension, otherwise LYNX wouldn't detect it as LYNX file. If the .lnx files are Geos related ones, I would recommend the program GEOPACK for dissolving purposes. It is located in /pub/c64/geos/geos64/archive. Use also GEOPACK for .cvt files in the Geos directory. New files are added every day, so try to visit this site from time to time.
